Dear colleagues, dear Aiteb members,

It is with great pleasure that I present to you the 6th edition of the AITEB Congress, which will take place in Bologna, in the beautiful setting of Palazzo de Toschi, on November 15 and 16, 2024.

AITEB is a well-established scientific reality, which has contributed over the years to precise and timely information and education on botulinum toxin, and is now a scientific reference point for those who conscientiously deal with the use of this drug.

The congress, in keeping with its tradition, will present the state of the art in the aesthetic use of botulinum toxin and will also offer an in-depth look at aesthetic-related territories.

The interdisciplinary nature that has always characterized the congress will allow the confrontation of professionals from different backgrounds who share an interest in the use of this extraordinary drug. An example of this synergy will be the session that will present, in parallel, dissective anatomy, ultrasound anatomy, and neurophysiological anatomy.

We will certainly have constructive comparisons with those who work on botulinum toxin in functional and parafunctional settings, and with those who are dedicated to basic research on the drug.

In fact, AITEB has always been attentive to the training of physicians interested in the knowledge and deepening of their scientific and technical skills on the use of the drug.

The knowledge that will be the theme of the congress will contribute to the well-being of our patients, improving their quality of life in a field of absolute medical safety.

In fact, constant updating and continuing education are essential to maintain high standards of our therapeutic levels for our patients.

Bologna will be the perfect setting not only for scientific sessions, but also for meeting with colleagues and friends in a proverbially jovial setting.

I would like to thank in advance the colleagues who will enrich us with their reports, the moderators of the sessions, and the companies that will give us their congressional support.
